“The more local,the more internstionsl” Suchi is the motto of Justin Chou’s crative career. He’s skilled in deconstructing and reconstructing eastern and western elements. And he’s never short of cool ideas. This year,He returns to Taipei Fashion Week with Luxury Godbage,realizing his belief in sustainable fashion, Derived from personal brand JUST IN XX,Luxury Godbage utilizes waste materials, trimming,second=hand clothes, and even antique clothes through re-designing .repurposing,and reusing-an approached that can be likened to molecular gastronomy. To Justin Chou, Luxury is about time and presenting craft in the context of rapidly-changing trends. Perhaps there’s no longer a need for trendy clothes, but clothes that embody meanings stories, and workmanship” I’ve been thinking how I ,as a member of the fashion industry, can reduce waste and environmental pollution.
